The Pigs
Meet Poppy and Podrick!
Poppy and Podrick are my amazing yoga assistants and also our family pigs. They are an integral part of my herd. About 10 years ago, I decided I wanted a pig after seeing so many famous pigs on social media. I dove into learning more about them, not just as pets but also as animals. Their behaviors fascinated me. And in May 2020, Poppy arrived. She became a huge part of my life, helping me through my depression and anxiety. She inspired me to start Yoga, Vino, & a Pig. I wanted to share my love for pigs and yoga with the community.
In August of 2022, we brought Podrick home. And he is just the sweetest. Watching them snuggle and create mischief around the house has been adorable and also extra work, but my family and I wouldn’t trade anything for the world.
